I installed Tiger onto my ipod and now it does not mount. Itunes doesn't recognize it and when I went back to installation my ipod isn't recognized. I am able to do disk repairs but that is the only place that my computer recognizes it. In system profiler there is nothing under firewire. My Ipod continues to charge however ... strange. I tried doing a reset but it didn't seem to do anything.
I have a first generation (how old!) 10gb ipod. I know it needs to be upgraded anyways but I've grown attached and would prefer to keep it!
Do you think a complete erase would help? Is there any way to get my songs off?
