I have had a look at other threads about this, but here is what is happening. worked fine last week, now it wont boot at all.

With battery in, and power unhooked, upon pushing power button, power light flashes briefly, and thats it. With battery in or out, and power connected, power light does not do anything. That is the only activity.

AC adaptor, and battery both have good voltage.

Pull all optical drives, hard drives, MiniPCI cards, and RAM from the system. Try it, then.

If it still does the same thing, you're probably looking at a bad motherboard.
