Hi all,

Serious problem with my tft monitot. About 3 years old now and has just suddenly started misbehaving. Will try to explain....monitor randomly flashes up a smaller distorted image of what is already showing on screen. Starts of slowly and then gradually mirror image starts to take up most of screen. Has now also started switching itself off to standby. Have searched the net and not found anyone to ever have had a similar problem. Is it time for a new monitor or can this be repaired??? Also have tried moitor out on a neighbours pc and same problem.

Help.

Try changing your VGA cable (the 15 to 15 pin lead which plugs to your graphics card) sounds like an earth problem within the cable.
