Hi guys , I've got a old toshiba laptop(Tecra s1 system unit model No. Pt831a- 01DXN) and wehn I start it up nothing happens. Sometimes it beeps , sometimes it doesn't . The LEDs turn on and everything but the screen doesn't start. Oh and the beeping order is as follow...short , long , pause , short ,short, short, pause , short , short , long. Need help , dont want to sound desperate but the laptop is my life.

Jump to PostAm not much for hardware issues, but the beep indication should be described in your motherboard's manual. If you don't have it, am sure you can't find it online.
