Hi there. For some reason lately when I boot up my computer, a window stating "On click, Line 1: Unexpected symbol near ' <'" appears. I ran CHKDSK to try and fix this problem, but it freezes at stage 4 of 5 at 57%. Not only that, but Disk Defragmenter also freezes the computer after reaching upon a certain %. Any idea on what I should do? Thank you.

Yes, I'm using Windows XP. I set it up then restart the computer so it can preform the task.
