My computer has been running slow these past few days and I can't open hotmail, MSN messenger and the microsoft website. I am connected wireless with a linksys router through a modem. Another computer plugged in the router works fine. I have Ikarus virus utilities and the windows firewall. Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.

• You must download it to and run it from your Desktop
• Physically disconnect from the internet.
• Now STOP all your monitoring programs (Antivirus/Antispyware, Guards and Shields) as they could easily interfere with ComboFix.
• Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it will produce a log. Please save that log to post in your next reply along with a fresh HJT log
• Re-enable all the programs that were disabled during the running of ComboFix..

Note:
Do not mouse-click combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.

Hi, thanks for the help, but I can't download ComboFix.

It shows the download window, then when its done, it opens another little window that says "copying..." then an error message comes up saying "Cannot copy ComboFix[1]: Access is denied. Make sure that the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use"

Also, do you recommend using AVG Anti-Virus or the one I am currently using: Ikarus?

To be honest, I know nothing of Ikarus. AVG is pretty good, as is Avast and AVPE.
When you download Combofix you should only get an option to run or save. Are you able to download anything else from the net?
Did you try both links?
