Hi guys, I'm trying to clean out my pop's computer with a combination of Spybot S&D and Adaware Personal (freeware version), but it's not happening. Adaware finds the stuff, but it keeps freezing while it's deleting the selections. My pop's computer is also weak, it's 128 ram with only 350 MB free HD space on a 6 gig HD, I dunno if that affects Adaware.

Hope someone can help with this log.

Sorry for double post. I removed a couple obvious entries so far, but Hijackthis has been unable to remove the entries for Surfer Sidekick, although I did delete its folder in the program files folder.

Also, does anyone know what ffjxmj.exe is? When I google it, there are no entries listed at all!

Sorry about the delay in responding to your post, it's been pretty busy here lately and yours seems to have gotten overlooked.

If you can't find an .exe file using Google, it's usually a pretty good indication that it's bad.

Before you fix anything with hijackthis, it needs to be in it's own permanent folder; right now you have it in a Temp folder which most likely need to be emptied as a part of your cleanup. If you still require assistance, please move HJT into a folder, like C:\HJT\hijackthis.exe, and post a new log.
