Google Redirecting In Firefox

I have been reading some old posts about Google either redirecting search results or opening bogus result pages. It just started happening to me a couple of days ago, where the Google results only open up advertisers websites, and not the information I want. It looks as if the results links have nothing to do with the actual search result. Perhaps it's just the long-winded way of saying that I'm getting redirected too. It seems to be happening when I use Firefox, but not Safari. I've run spyware scans and I just removed "CoolWebSearch" using Stopzilla, but that did not fix my problem. I'm new at all this self-help stuff, so I was hoping that someone could help me figure out what I should do to correct the problem. All processes are now going extremely slow on my computer. I'd appreciate any feedback. I just learned about the HijackThis thing, so I am copying it here:

Can you pls do the following:

1. - Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button) to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Make sure that you restart the computer.

I ran the Malwarebytes software and it returned 18 adware infections. I removed those and am attaching the log files. I'm keeping my fingers crossed while I do this. Thanks

Firstly, hijackthis will not fix those 010 entries, as you have found out :). LSPfix should always be used to remove malware entries.

Secondly, those 010 entries are legitimate. They belong to Stopzilla.

Thank you all. After all the scanning and such, I was successful in removing a couple dozen things that should not have been there. Sadly though, I am still stuck with the problem of Google returning bogus ad sites rather than the legitimate search results pages. At least I can use Google with Safari without the same problem. I'm stumped.

oh, still having problems, alright, let's try combo fix :)

Please download ComboFix by sUBs from HERE or HERE

• You must download it to and run it from your Desktop
• Physically disconnect from the internet.
• Now STOP all your monitoring programs (Antivirus/Antispyware, Guards and Shields) as they could easily interfere with ComboFix.
• Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it will produce a log. Please save that log to post in your next reply along with a fresh HJT log

Note:
Do not mouse-click combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.
