I downloaded Spyware Cease and then found my p.c. home page was bombarded with numerous simultaneous Bing homepages (which I did not want) and my search window , which I had set to Google, sent me to all kind of sites I did not want. After trying all sorts of things, I ran Norton which found no problems. I eventually downloaded Malwarebytes and it found 26 Trojans. I deleted them, and no problems! So while it could be Spyware Cease is not the culprit, it would be useful to hear of any comments from other users.

More than likely a piece of rogue anti-malware that once it scans your 'clean' PC, tells you it is infected. You then have to purchase it in order to have it remove these 'infections.'

That's exactly what it looks like!

Thanks Guys. As I thought!
