I'm getting really pissed. I have a brand new Dell, really fast, and now its crap. It's loaded with spyware, adware, and crap! I've used virus scanners, various spyware and adware programs, even the best, but they dont help. I restart and all the crap is back on my pc.

The main concern in my internet, something keeps changing my homepage from www.comcast.net to res://umfsl.dll/index.html#96676. Before it was like wytxm.dll, then adqg.dll or something. I used one spyware program and it found about 600 items, and they were all in a cache329 folder, so I deleted it. It didnt help at all. My webpage still changes and its loaded with popups.

I know the problems are all in the Windows and System32 folder. I dunno what to do anymore.

I've used Hijack This and I delete the res://umfsl.dll/index.html#96676 but it still comes back. Someone please help me.

First up, dump spykiller as it is next to useless & a rip off of a good, free product.
Download dllfix from the following link.
http://tools.zerosrealm.com/dllfix.exe

Create a folder on your desktop, doubleclick on the dllfix and install it into the folder you just created.
1.Run start.bat and press option 1. 'output.txt' will be created in the folder. Post the results of the log here.

thanks for the reply, but the dllfix.exe is gone. I did the manual removal, but it didnt work. Can someone send me the program? My email is artylives76@yahoo.com

Thanks!
