recently installed suse 9.2 which is the distro i have been looking forward to the most. really like the look and feel of the whole thing, but as with other flavours i have tried in the past, the modem is the sticking point.
after entering the isp, number, pass and username, the modem dials in with all the right noises, but the browser will not connect to the net, saying url cannot be found. i had no problem with fedora core 3, which i could always go back to, but would rather stay with suse. can anyone supply what might be a simple fix to a more experienced user, or would i be better going back to fedora or another flavour.
