Just like any OS,
which box do you have?
Just backup your home DIR to another partion and reinstall the Windows in partition with Linux

First you should get the backup of your important data into the safe drive then format drive which you have install the Linux and install the OS as Windows as your requirement.

you could keep both and have dual boot by just installing windows and tehngrub (the boot manager of linux) will cope and let you choose which to boot at boot up!

Hi,
1. Insert the Linux Cd-01.
2. Boot From CD-ROM.
3. After some steps it asks to remove all existing linux partitions, Remove.
4. Load the New operating system.

-Do you have a copy of Windows first of all?
-Windows installer normally overrides everything already on the disk, i know that what it did to me, when i wanted to put windows along side linux... all my data was lost. I didn't realize it would do that.
