How to Access Usb Storage Devices

My operating system is fedora...I don't know root password.......It couldn't detecting any pen drives.....It was asking root permission while putting pen drive......How can i access Usb storage Devices...........without knowing root password

Normally, a Linux system will automount a usb drive when it is detected, although settings in /etc/fstab can override that. Post the contects of /etc/fstab here.
