ok so i just used toast to mount a .bin as a virtual disc but when i click on it rather than playing like a dvd it opens like a file. sny suggestions??

Jump to PostOpen a new Finder window, navigate to "Applications", and open DVD player. From the File menu select "Open DVD Media" (or it might say "Open Video_TS folder"), and then select the mounted image with the dialog box that pops up. Hopefully, it will now play.

yeah that SHOULD work but it just says the selected media type is not supported or something like that

Have you selected the Video_TS folder? I don't think it will work if you just select the disk. Failing that, I would say that the file is probably corrupted. If you're still desperate, VLC is worth a try.
