Is it possible to get a copy of MS windows Home server without having to buy the dedicated computer for it?

i think you can get it on OEM but then you still have to buy it with a "system critical - non peripheral component" like a motherboard or a cpu, in order to meet the licence terms.

you can buy it on e-bay with needed hardware to comply with oem agreement .
