I have a new Acer Veriton M410 with integrated Audio. My sound does not work and since my daughter tried to fix the problem while I was at work I get a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error that shuts down the computer every time I try to use it. I tried a system restore to an earlier date and the computer goes through the motions of restoring but after restarting it says it was unable to restore. I have tried every restore point recorded in the month or so that I've had the computer. I'm not sure if the audio ever worked or not as it is such a new computer and I know I haven't used anything that required the speakers. Any suggestions on what to do? Could it be a problem with a microsoft update? Is a driver roll back possible? Any suggestions appreciated.
