Hi, not sure if this is the cause but I recently installed Game Commander 3 (voice regognition software) oin my machine. I still get windows sounds and game sounds but I've noticed I don't get any audio playback in videos. I've only tried using Windows Media Player. I've checked everything I can think of how can I turn the sound back on??? I have onboard sound on my computer.
Windows XP sp2
2 Ghz
1 GB ram
Radeon 9800pro 128MB
Directx 9.0c

EDIT: please delete this post. The mute button was on in WMP lol. I feel stupid now.
