Does anyone know anything about Lameme.exe?
I found this exe on my sons PC and, I suspect it may be related to PORN (It's not the first time I've caught him).
If so, can anyone instruct me how to get rid of it??

Where'd you find it on the system? What are the creation and modification dates on the file?

All I know is that I couldn't find anything through a Google search.

Lameme is a Spanish word meaning "you lick me" so you could be right in your assumption.

Hrm...

I'm not accusing anyone here, but that does sound kind of scandalous...

well I dont mean to sound rude but kind of rude searching your kids computer. i know it sounds funny but it wont build any trust. you are better off saying hey we are going to check your computer for trojans and hidden viruses, then sit down with him and do it together, that way you are not snooping. secondly , i found this thread because i found a folder of the same name in my registry and i can assure you this computer does not surf pron, ever!!!I was however looking for a tool when i picked up the webrebates, man, that was a pain to get rid of. but i started going thru my registry to check for things that didnt belong, i saw it did a search on it and got here. so i dont know, but im going to delete it. in for a penny in for a pound. that webrebate knocked out my intrusion detection on my norton, and knocked out my system restore and norton ghost isnt working right.but i was able to block it from the net with norton, then i changed the name then i was able to delete the file, if it didnt migrate i beat it .

Thankd for the note. I have however solved the problem by formatting the drive, I found all sorts of weird stuff on my son's PC.
You mentioned "trust", well that doesn't exist when using a PC.
