I have tried a lot of different virus programs and they are all finding malicious material but non of them will allow them to be deleted. I ran Adaware, Spybot, and Avast. My Avast on access protection will not open when my computer starts and they only way I can get the scanner or some programs to run is by right clicking and going to "Run As...". If I do not do that it asks me which program I want to use to open the program. I can not open my system restore. I am running Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 6000. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also tried installing AVG but it gives me an error when I go to install it.
