welcome to daniweb
Are you on a network?since when are you experiencing this prob.

commented: you are everywhere on this site! You are doing a great job!! +1

do not be distressed little damsel ;)

we are here to help, and help we will!

If you are on a network, you are more than likely connecting to a proxy filter that might be restricting your access.

If you are on a home connection (DSL, cable, dial-up), it could be some settings in your browser.

So, let us know how you connect, and what browser you are using (IE 6, IE 7, Firefox), and we will get you fixed up!!

Can you also include what anti-virus you are running?

I am currently at work, and I do not have the time to go over your log at the moment, but I will be logging back on in about an hour or so.....I will check it out then and let you know what I find. Good luck to you!

so you can comminicate with google, that is good news.....I'll check back with ya when i log back on!!

i would really appreciate it, thwnks alot in advanced

i thought this might help you in assiting me

You are very proactive! Most newbies know nothing about their systems, and it is almost like pulling teeth to communicate with some of them! You are absolutely a breath of fresh air :)

Ok, i thought I was going to be offline a bit longer, but now I am back at my desk. So I am going to look at your hijack this log, and see what we see......

also, exactly what happens when you try to connect to these sites? Do you get an error message?

it just keeps trying to connect
you could see the green bar move to like half way then it just keeps trying

so does it take long for any other website to load?

how is your cpu performance when the website is peak loading.try uninstalling and reinstalling IE.

it is really fast for other websites
i tried uninstalling and re-installing ie
and still have the same problem

one thing i have noticed is that my hard drive is showing that it is almost full
and before all of this it use to show that it was only like 10 percent ful ???

Have you run chkdsk on your HDD

Do a system restore ass well.Ill have a look at your HJT log and drop a post tomorow
[about to leave work]

we'll get it fixed though-no worries

also, you might try a disk cleanup. Can you see anywhere on your HD where the space is being taken (programs or other files?), and have you ran a virus check recently?

Do a system restore ass well.Ill have a look at your HJT log and drop a post tomorow
[about to leave work]

we'll get it fixed though-no worries

Well, lets not throw name calling into it.. I know restoring sometimes is boring but lets leave the asses out of it.....LOL

a friend of mine installed tune up utilities
and i ran chekdisk thru tune up utilities
and still same problem
i even tried to put in a xp pro disk
to run repair and it said it did not recognize
any drives

i appreciate any help you could give me

So you are having way more issues than just not being able to visit a few websites......hmmm this is gonna take a lot of work.....How receptive are you to the idea of reformatting? If you have a backup, you might consider it....it might take less time that way to fix all of your issues...

i attempted to put a xp disk in to reformat
and it said that it cant recognize any drives
i was reading that the lap top originaly came
with windows vista, and that to be able to put xp in
i would have to disable something about sata
but i dont know how

go into BIOS at start up by pressing tapping delete/f12 at startup for a couple of times.make your cdrom your BOOT up device, then BOOT with your OS in the cd/dvd drive

i fixed my problem with getting on internet sites
i downloaded a file from hp
essentail system update for xp
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3356620&prodNameId=3356622&swEnvOID=1093&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-49534-1

but now i have the problem of my hard drive is showing it is full
and it should be almost empty
i have only added tuneup utilities and a registry fixer
it is showing almost 90 percent full ???

Have you checked your drive to see if you have any massive file folders on there....I wonder if your reg fixer has created some sort of file that is duplicating in a folder somewhere.......or maybe a virus doing it? I don't know but it would be worth the quick look....

what is the actuall disk space, have you done your basics ie disk check, anti virus program?

Sittas87 asked you earlier if you ran a chkdsk? Did you ever do that? If you did, what happened?
