Got my daughter a used T23 laptop...all fine until she took to friends house and tried to connect to their wireless system w/ Verizon (ours is also Verizon) but now when I tried to get hers going at home again, it acts like it doesn't have a wireless drive inside it..

Tried reloading Verizon disc..no help
Tried entering Wireless IP address manually...didn't take it
have been on phone with verizon for over 5 hours last few days...no help.

System is Win 2000 and to say the least she has lots of other program loaded.

Maybe you should look for the Wi-Fi card drivers
