I am installing windows xp professional on the new pc i am building, but the disk is service pack 1, and i have no intent on slip streaming. is there a way to get a standalone install of XP SP2 that i can put on a usb flash disk, to install on my xp sp1 machine. I need the standalone since i don't want to connect to the internet to get sp2, and get a million viruses int the proccess. If you can find me a decent standalone install, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced to those who can help.

Jump to PostWell, M$ update site has it... it is the "professional installation" option, the filename is:
WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe
from..

Copy that to your USB pen and run it from there like any self-installing file.
