Hello my friends

I am running windows xp pro. lately, I can not open my internet page. When I triied to load my homepage (Google), it opened but the page turn blank. If I tried to load other page from my favorite, it open the "can not display" page. Please don't tell me to update my internet explorer 6 because I can't even brower my internet, therefore I won't be able to download.
Can anyone please help me fix these problem step by step.
