hi all, im a newbie

im having problems with my laptop, i can log on to msn but not the internet i keep getting internet explorer cannot display the webpage...

i did a diagnose connection problem and it comes back...

check the firewall settings for the HTTP port (80) HTTPS port (443) FTP port (21)

how do i check them?

Do you login to msn through internet explorer?

What firewall program if any, are you using?

can you go to command prompt..
then type ipconfig /all
check your settings whether thet are correct or not?

try also to ping yahoo.com

post back the result..
