I have a fresh install of XP Pro, SP3 that I just rolled out to the office. What's missing is the XP ability to compress files. According to Microsoft support 306531, I should be able to go File|New|Compressed (zipped) Folder -or- in an folder right click New|Compressed (zipped) Folder.
However, that option is not available in either place. Additionally, I like the old Win 2000 right click Send To option that included Zip.
The only help I can find posted on the web are Registry tweeks! Really? It's supposed to be there, what am I misssing?
Where is my XP built in compress file option that was supposed to replace Winzip?
