Pop it in and i think theres an option around the end to reinstall microsoft services. that should do it.
if not try system restore to an earlier version.
also WHAT does not seem to work about it?

what you mean command prompt cannot work?
go to run ..then type cmd then enter.. it will show the command prompt window...
