Microsoft discontinuing 98 and others.

Just in case there is any other poor soul on this board that is still running Win98 like me, read this short article.

Note that it saysWindows 98 and not Windows 98 SE. Anyone who hasn't updated to SE already should do an in-place upgrade now, even if from a borrowed disc.

For a long time, I have been telling folks to go to the Corporate Download Center and download everything they find for 98 and SE and burn it to a CD. Those patches, though, should still be available -- just none new after end-of-life.
