I am about to wipe my hard drive and install windows 7( I hate vista). I have two hard drives in my computer. I want one to be erased and windows 7 installed on it. And the other I dont want to be touched. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks

If you unplug the second drive, it cannot be interfered with at all.

That's what I did when I installed Wondows7 RC. I have 4 hdd's, I unplugged 3 of them during the install process.

A little drastic. Win7 (like earlier Windows installs) will give you the option to select install drive and leaves the other drives unaffected. Unless you are a novice, identifying the correct HDD should be no issue
