hey i just want to ask does it matter to have 64 bit os instead of 32-bit??

i just want to know its advantages and disadvantages..
pls help me if u can...

The 64-bit OS has the ability to process data 64-bits at a time, including 64 bit numbers. It can also address terabytes of data in memory, not just the 2 - 4 gigabytes available under 32-bit systems. To run it you need a CPU which is 64 bit capable.

16-bit programs and 16-bit install packages will not run under 64-bit windows.

oh no!

No more abandon ware on my win7 64bit :-(
