I dont know if im in the right thread or not but anyway, i recently turned on my gateway laptop but the screen stays blank. I tried the keys combination fn/f6 but nothing happened. I hooked up to a pc monitor but still the same problem. Has anyone any ideas what the problem could be. Many thanks

Hi mate have you seen if the laptop need a good clean, if not then it's your on board graphics that have died.
