Internet explorer keeps on opening and closing by itself! HELP!

Internet explorer keeps on opening and closing itself when my laptop is left idle. Also can't open internet explorer it only opens begins to load and then closes again.

Any ideas??

Sounds to me like your machine has been hijacked by some spam or virus software. If you have some good antivirus software you should run a scan.

Also, try manually starting Internet Explorer without any add-ons. Hold the "Windows" key down and hit "r". Then type

iexplore.exe -extoff

This will start Internet Explorer in bare bones mode.
