Missing 'E Drive

Hi there,
I have Windows 98SE and had to reformat last week. Everything went fine except my 'E' drive will not open. I have gone in to 'My Computer' and it does not even show up there. Can anyone help me to get it back. I would be greatly appreciated.

what is you, E:\ drive a cdrom ,does it show up in device manager if so delete it and reboot windows to see if it loads the drive ,also you maybe missing mother board device drivers after the format any yellow !! in the device manager ,

also just your bios setup screen to make sure that its showing up there if not there either no power to it the cables bad /loose or the jumper setting is wrong
