Weird Things Happening...

So I was playing Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne and then suddenly my screen turned black and i landed up on my desktop with this error message : (now this message has never appeared before)

Also, I click my start button and i notice what programs are below my pin to start menu section and i notice that Wordpad has a different icon, its using my norton trash icon! ive never changed it, here's a pic of that!

Give us a chance. Many of us work and don't get to our computers until after dinner, etc.

Now as to your problem. The Warcraft error may depend on your system configuration. It could be a corrupt file, among other things. Give us more information -- I'll see what I can find in the meantime.

The wrong-icon problem is a bit easier, I think, though it may also be related. Download the XP PowerToy TweakUI, then use the Rebuild Font Cache function to do just that.

I installed TweakUI and went to repair to see what that was about now as i tried to repair the items from the drop down, as i kept click the repair now button, nothing happened :(. Also, where is rebuild font cache located?
