Hi, im currently running-
2.7 Intel processor
1Gb DDR Samsung
80gig Samsung
256mb ATI Radeon 9600xt
My problem is whenever I try to load up a Program which requires Hardware acceleration, such as Battlefield 2 of GTA:SA, my computer completely locks up and I have to pull the plug to get back on it. It only started happening this morning and it was working perfect last night. It isn't a cooling issue as when i read it might be that, i took fans from my old computers, and added them to mine. I've tried reinstalling, installing, rolling back and updating drivers, but to no avail.
My computer even locks up when my OpenGL screensaver opens
Also, ingame etc. The screen would go weird and it would be small segments of the game image all over the monitor, also, the last 1/2 second-2seconds of sound will play over and over.
1 thing i did notice, was that earlier today, i got a blank blue screen while playing battlefield, restarted and all worked fine for about 5 minutes until I noticed problems
