hi i use wmp 12 and seem to play most i throw at it ,when it doesn't i use vlc player it handles the rest . a lot of the codec download com with so much added shhhit it not worth it . http://tinyurl.com/3ex6mua

Also you can try MpcStar. It's the same as VLC but much more reliable...
