electronic simulation tool

Hi all,
I need a simple electronic simulation tool. i googled a lot but all the software are big and complex. most of them need the circuit to be completed with ground connection. But i need a simple one that is,if i draw a 12v battery and a 1k resistor. and i connect them . i need to measure the voltage after that resistor. like a multimeter do. I hope anybody can help me.
