Win XP update error 0x8024400A when requesting express updates.
I have done a system recovery of HP Pavilion a1410n, which only updates to SP2. All seems to be working well without updates. When asking for an express update from Microsoft update site,the following error occurs, 0x8024400a. Words are, **"Website encountered prolem and can not display the page." ** I tried to load SP3 manually sith file Windows XP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe I get ...is not a valid Win32 application.
This PC has IE8, XP media center Edition, AMD Athon 64 3800+ processor, 2 GB RAM,

Sounds like the SP 3 download is corrupt. Can you download from a different computer and copy via USB?
