I have a WinXP system. When I display the contents of a folder that contains .jpg files and select View|as Thumbnails I dont get the thumbnails of the pics. Instead, I get an icon, all the same, for the files. Thse are good files, because I can double-click on them and they open as expected.
I suspect that I just need to reinstall a part of the OS that renders the thumbnail. I would prefer not to reistall the entire OS, as that always seems to lead to problems of one sort or another.
Does anyone know what I need to reinstall and how to go about it?
