Hi,
each time I close Windows the ending application window appears and informs me that the application "CDirectoryChangeWatcherHelperWindow" doesn't respond. I don't know what this application is, I have no applications opened and no applications in Task Manager too. I'm afraid it could be a virus... please HELP!!!!!!!

HI!
I have solved the mistery: it is an application of Nero Scout, one of Nero 7 Premium Tools that I installed some days ago in demo version. Nero Scout (activated automatically at Nero setup) indexes all the folders and slows down drastically all the copy-paste operation, moreover crashes on Windows shut down. I have disinstalled the whole Nero package and now everything is ok.
Thanks

I do agree this is a nero application but removing it is some what extreme. If you go to the start, run, then type MSConfig and then enter. This is a tool to edit which tasks are run by windows. Go to the startup tab at the top and find any nero 7 services. Untick any of these, exit the program and restart. The CDirectoryChangeWatcherHelperWindow will no longer appear. Using this tool you can also stop annoying things like quicktime from starting in the tooltray.

Good Luck Guys & Girls
