I am working on a PC trying to install a wireless USB. the Ethernet Card is installed and is working properly, so it says. When I type "ipconfig", it states that the Media is Disonnected. How the heck do I change the status of that?

an ipconfig that says media state....media disconnected is usually a physical/LAN connectivity problem. try using another USB port. If this does not work try connecting to your network manually.
