This computer is giving me a headache..i have just formatted it and everything else is working fine except that it does not detect either the ethernet cable or the wireless network..i tried dowloading driver software from the internet and it still does not work! please help

Happy New Year to you, we would love to help but the following would be helpful
Your OS is Win XP? Linux? Downloaded drivers from where?
If its windows go into control panel - system -device settings - you will have yellow possible red marks by things not working
What are they - under network adaptors - video etc what does it say
Usually the best place is go to Lenova and get your drivers from there
just make sure you get the right ones or post back answer to my questions and I'll get you links to the proper drivers
