the lan connects the file share and a group of PC's, but 1 pc in a back room with no ethernet has a wifi connection on a router with a different IP range to the LAN

i want the wifi connected pc to get access to the same file share as the others.

If the Wifi segment is on a different subnet than the wired LAN, you'll need a router to be connected between the two subnets. Otherwise, what you could do is disable routing services on the router and configure the router to bridge (have all ports act like a switch), then plug the router device into the Wired LAN. Once all of the devices are on the same subnet, you'll be able to access the resources.
