setting up a wireless network

in my desktop i have win. xp pro & in the laptop xp home i have wireless adaptors in both systems. can i connect these computers wirelessly how can i do it
plz help

You will need a wireless router to create a wireless axcess point to share printer and internet ,not sure if you will be able to all that cna be done when you have a wired network!!check this site and many others found with a Google search .

You do not need a router to simply connect the 2 computers to each other, nothing more (for example, no Internet). This type of network is called "ad-hoc mode", because there is no central location.
