Setting a Network Key

Hello I am new at this and I am seeking help for a NETGEAR router. The laptop says it is recieving signal from the router but the its says that the signal is limited and that it requires a "Network Key" Where can i find the Network Key and where do i enter it. Thanksn

Yes the router is mine, i think you're talking about SSID and yes i did set that up with the instalment of the router. On the window that displays the signal it says that it is limited, it says it requires a Network Key.

ok, you set the key up in the router, it probably is WEP encryption you're using. just browse through the router's webpages, under WiFi - Security, or something of similar context, and find the place where you are supposed to enter the network key.
