I'm trying to set up a network share between my laptop (XP) and desktop PC (Vista). Both machines connect wirelessly to a DSL modem in the kitchen.

I'm not sure, but I think what I'm after is an "ad hoc" connection? Is that right? I've renamed both machine's domains so they're the same, I set a couple folders to share on my bedroom PC hoping it would show up in the Shared Network Folders.
I cannot seem to access any shared folders yet. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong- I'm really new with Vista so that doesn't help either.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
