Toshiba Satellite Screen Blank/Black

I have a Toshiba Satellite P5O5 model and the laptop recently dropped resulting to a screen that starts up with the backlight and nothing on the screen. I replaced the screen and the inverter and it's still the same problem.

What else can be the problem?

The graphics chip might be defective.
