monitor and keyboard not responding

hey my cpu and mouse is turning on, but my keyboard and monitor stop respondin g. i already try to plug the keyboard to other pc and it works . what should i do ?

What PC have you got?
Have you had any power cut's or surges recently?
Do you get anything at all on your monitor?
Do you get any beeps?
