I have been googling this and have read close variations of the following issue from others.
It seems that if you are running MS office 2010 Excel and go to delete a group of rows, sometimes below where you are working a blank row will appear at maxamim height size and also several other rows will end up hidden. This doesn't happen every time but only every few times you perform a delete of some rows. You can restore the hidden rows by using the "unhide rows" tool and restore the huge row back to normal. This only seems to occur if the file was created in Office 2003 and it doesn't seem to matter if you are using compatability mode, or have resaved the file format to (xlsx). If you save it without fixing the goof, it will open up normally again.
It seems that the only way to prevent this from occurring is to click on " unhide rows" each time you open that file. This is not an isolated insident. It is happening on every computer here that uses office 2010.
Any ideas??
