Hi
I am starting a project in Director 11.5 (which I am new to) which on a basic level consists of:
- a scene / environment created in Adobe Maya 2009
- a simple set of animations (animated in Maya and then chosen from a menu within the shockwave element.
- the animations (once selected from a menu) played on the scene (as if they were together) With either a set of camera viewpoints or a user controlled camera
So basically, imagine any sports game with an instant replay, its that kind of concept.
Though because I am new to the software, I just need some help getting started and familiarizing myself with what I need to do.
I would really appreciate some simple steps of what I need to do, mainly so that I know what can be done before I 'dig any deeper' so to speak. I don't want to start modelling, high poly count scenery, if I have to resort back to flash and make simpler models.
I am really sorry if this seems like a stupid long task, but any advice would be appreciated,
