hi
i am new to android.i am using eclipse ide for android development.i am unable to add files into my emulator
Here's what i did
1.opened the ddms and went to file explorer and push the file to the device and selected the file. it says the file is pushed into the device. but when i checked in the device it is not shown.i restarted Eclipse but nothing happened
sometimes i am getting the error
failed to push the item
It is better to open emulator before actually deploying as it does take time to start emulator, and then just run deploy from Eclipse (not sure of specifics I'm IntelliJ user). Also it is good idea to assigne more then 32MB of RAM I usually run 512MB emulator is faster then, but prefered option is alsways real device on USB debug
